Nicole Randazzo

    Nicole was born and raised in New Jersey. She is a political science major  and plans on attending law school so that she can become a prosecutor. 

    Nicole is the Student Government Senate President Pro Tempore and represents the college of arts and sciences. She is in Phi Alpha Delta, is the advocacy chair of N.I.T.E. (Necessary Improvements to Transform your Environment), and is a big sister in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. She also sits on a variety of University Wide Committees, Task Forces , and Advisory Committees such as the Status on Women Committee and the Blackboard Advisory Committee.

    After being in the legislative branch for over a year, Nicole has decided to run for Student Body President. She feels that the Executive Branch needs change and the fresh perspective that she will bring to the position will do just that. The students need someone who will serve them and their needs, and Nicole is that person.

Ruth Damys


Born and raised in Naples, FL- Ruth [Su-Z] is a Political Science major taking on a double minor in Public Health and Women's Studies. She anticipates starting Law School in September 2009 while she aspires to become a Civil Rights Attorney and eventually a Circuit Court Judge.

Ruth is very active at USF and in the community. The South Florida junior currently serves as the Big Brothers Big Sisters Recruiter for the university. She is a Senator for the College of Arts & Sciences and sits on the Organizational Outreach Committee (OOC). In addition, she is a supervisor at Campus Rec, Activities Coordinator for her church, State Delegate for Club Creole, and is on the Leadership Board for S.O.S. Her latest project has been working on starting a Mock Trial team at the Univeristy of South Florida.

Being a part of countless organizations at the univeristy has allowed Ruth to interact with a very diverse group of individuals. Ruth believes that each member of the Executive Branch has a vital role to play as a key representative and advocate of COMMITMENT, DETERMINATION, PERSEVERANCE, LEADERSHIP, MOTIVATION, and AMBITION. She strongly believes that the R&D Ticket is a living proof of this representation.
